Ceinwen Gobert (CeiG) was born in Saskatchewan and trained as a professional dancer at Alberta Ballet and the University of Calgary. While dancing she acquired a minor in English, and became fascinated with the nuances of language. She works now as a multidisciplinary artist in Toronto and incorporates poetry and childhood spells into her illustrations to create abstract dreamscapes filled with language and movement.
Ceinwen works primarily with ink and watercolour, and often layers both these mediums with digital design.
